JIS g3101:2004 ss540 structural steel angle contains 0.30% carbon and 1.60% manganese, which greatly improves the strength of steel. Compared with A572 Gr 55 ms steel coil SS400 and ss490, ss540 has higher strength with yield strength of 400MPa and tensile strength of 540Mpa.
