On Jan. 31, 2019, BBN steel held the annual meeting with all employees, family members, and friends. It is a moment of joyand it is a moment to summarize the past and look forward.Looking back on 2018, BBN steel exported A572 grade 55 high strength steel more than 2 million tons of steel materials to all parts of the world and made outstanding contributions to infrastructure construction at home and abroad. In 2019, BBN steel will make A572 grade 55 high strength steel persistent efforts and forge ahead.
When talking about our team, it is hard not to mention our QC department (Quality Control). We have built strict qualitycontrol system to guarantee the steel quality. During the steel materials production, we have strict monitoring measures and indicators, and ensure no chemical composition, mechnical properties and so on technical problems for the steel materials A572 grade 55 high strength steel. After production, our QC department will conduct another inspection regarding to the steel quantity, dimension, mark and so on points before delivery.
In 2013, one of our clients in Korea purchased 890 tons Q345B square tube from us for one building construction project. Our clients required no burr in the side of the tube, we finally produce the goods with great condition and +/-0.25mm tolerance for wall thickness, which is a very great tolerance with customers’ required size. Our square tube full available range is 2-16mm for wall thickness, and 40-500mm for width. In addition, our Q/C department will seriously control all of the process of every order.
After twenty years of efforts, the company has completed the steel plates production process and complete testing equipment from smelting, rolling, drawing, heat treatment to A572 grade 55 high strength steel full material. Large-scale production, intensive, and unremitting research and development and innovation make our products maintain long-term vitality. In early 2008, the company established the Ministry of foreign trade, and our A572 grade 55 high strength steel steel plate products are now exported to the South Asia, the Middle East, Europe and the United States.
37SiMn2MoV steel is high-grade quenched and tempered steel. A572 grade 55 high strength steel, 37SiMn2MoV steel has excellent comprehensive mechanical properties, good heat treatment process, good hardenability, low sensitivity to quenching crack, high resistance to tempering, very low temper brittleness, good high temperature strength and low temperature toughness. Chemical composition of 37SiMn2MoV steel: C: 0.33-0.39, Si: 0.60-0.90, Mn: 1.60-1.90, Mo 0.40-0.50, V: 0.05-0.12. After quenching and tempering, 37SiMn2MoV steel is usually used to manufacture heavy load and large section important parts.
