A514 grade B quenched and tempered steel, Q345B low alloy steel plate composition: 1) Low carbon: Due to the high requirements for toughness, weldability and cold forming properties, its carbon content does not exceed 0.20%; 2) Add manganese-based alloying elements; 3) Adding auxiliary elements such as niobium, titanium or vanadium: a small amount of niobium, titanium or vanadium forms fine carbides or carbonitrides in the Q345B steel, which is conducive to obtaining fine ferrite grains and improving the strength and toughness of the steel; In addition, adding a small amount of copper (≤0.4%) and phosphorus (about 0.1%) can improve the corrosion resistance. Adding a small amount of rare earth elements can desulfurize and degas, purify steel, improve toughness and process performance.
Tokyo (Reuters) - Japan's crude steel production is expected to fall 25.9% in the April June quarter from a year earlier, the Ministry of economy, trade and industry said on Thursday. The Ministry of economy and industry quoted an industry survey report as saying that the demand for steel products (including export products) in April June is expected to drop 18.1% to 18.28 million tons from the same period last year. At the same time, A514 grade B quenched and tempered steel and so on steel exports in the current quarter will decline by 21.4% year-on-year.
The company's main steel plates have twelve types of steel products like boilers and pressure vessels, low-alloy high-strength steel A514 grade B quenched and tempered steel, wear-resistant steel plates, corrosion-resistant steel plates, high-rise building structural steel plates, marine structural steel plates, alloy structural steel plates, mold steel plates, carbon structural steel plates, shipbuilding and steel plates for oil production platforms, composite steel plates, steel plates for oil and gas pipelines. We offer various steel grades, and more than 300 kinds of thickness specifications.
Novel coronavirus pneumonia has been closed in recent years, and Pohang iron and Steel Co., Ltd. closed its overseas processing center in Italy, Malaysia, Philippines and India. At the request of the Italian government, all production activities will be stopped except for the necessary A514 grade B quenched and tempered steel products. POSCO-ITPC, an Italian stainless steel cold rolling mill near Verona in northeast Italy, is scheduled to close from March 26 to April 3.
