The steel plate and strip after hot rolling treatment are generally called hot rolled plate. Compared with other steel plate processing industries, A588 grade B structural steel plate, hot rolled plate has these characteristics. First, low hardness, easy processing. Compared with other steel needs special mechanical equipment, hot rolled plate is a very convenient for processing. Second, good ductility, not easy to break, good compression capacity, long service life. Third, the manufacturing process is simple, and the price and cost are relatively cheap compared with other steels.
The tensile strength of A36 steel plate is 58-80 Ksi (about 400-550MPa), and the yield strength is 36 Ksi (about 250MPa); the tensile strength of Q235 steel plate is 370-500 MPa, and the yield strength is 235MPa; the tensile strength of SS400 steel plate is 400-510MPa, and the yield strength is 245MPa. For the mechanical properties of A588 grade B structural steel plate, SS400 steel plate and Q235 steel plate, the thickness of steel plate is less than 16mm. It can be seen from the above data that ASME A36 and Chinese Q235 are named after the yield strength of the material, while SS400 is named after the tensile strength of the material.
BEBON has been engaged in the piping industry as a professional manufacturer and supplier of steel plates, ship plates, corten steel, pressure vessels, A588 grade B structural steel plate steel pipelines, seamless pipe and ERW pipes since the inception. We provide integrated solutions to whole-package procurement covering miscellaneous ferrous and non-ferrous piping components. The products are widely used in oil & gas project, subsea or offshore platform piping, A588 grade B structural steel plate chemical & pharmaceutical pipeline, power plant, sewage treatment, water supply piping, heat exchange application.
After adding a small amount of niobium, vanadium and titanium to A588 grade B structural steel plate etc. steel, it is combined with the controlled rolling process to control the precipitation behavior of microalloying elements to achieve the purpose of improving the comprehensive properties of the steel, whether it is strength, toughness, ductile-brittle transition temperature, or Steel's process formability, welding performance, corrosion resistance and crack resistance have been significantly improved, while reducing production costs. Such steel products are widely used in oil and gas pipelines, vehicles, building structures, oil production platforms, pressure vessels, ship shells and many other fields.
