A335P22 alloy pipe is mainly used as heating surface pipe of low and medium pressure boiler (working pressure is generally not more than 5.88 MPA, working temperature is below 450℃); A335P22 alloy pipe is also used as economizer, superheater, reheater and petrochemical industry pipe of high pressure boiler (working pressure is generally above 9.8MPa and working temperature is between 450℃ and 650℃).

Z-direction steel refers to thick steel with good tensile resistance in thickness direction. In the application of steel plate, the reason for additional performance requirements on the thickness direction of steel is due to the existence of defects in the thickness direction of steel in the process of casting and rolling. This defect makes the steel prone to lamellar tearing during welding, which reduces or even loses the design bearing capacity of application. The Z-direction performance is required for A572 Gr 50 high strength steel and so on steel plate with the tensile force along the plate thickness direction greater than or equal to 40mm.
