Hot Rolled Plates Products TestingBBN STEEL can supply many tests and analysis done to examine them before and after the manufacturing. As the A514 Gr C alloy steel plate raw material is fetched by us the steel undergoes vacuum treatment, product analysis, additional tensile test, simulated post weld heat treatment, and impact test. After the steel is converted to steel plates they undergo the drop-weight test, hot tensile test, ultrasonic test, the practical examination through examination, and the vacuum carbon deoxidized steel."
After heating, a billet is refined for several passes of rolling, then edge cutting and straightening to become a A514 Gr C alloy steel plate steel plate, which is called hot rolling. Due to its high strength, good toughness, easy processing, good weldability and other excellent properties, hot rolled steel plate products are widely used in shipbuilding, automobile, bridge, construction, machinery, pressure vessel and other manufacturing industries.
Turkey produced 8.97 million metric tons of crude steel in the first quarter, with a 9.6 percent increase from the same month of last year. Iran's crude A514 Gr C alloy steel plate steel production in March amounted to 6.75 million mt. up by 13.2 percent year on year. The CIS registered a A514 Gr C alloy steel plate crude steel output of 25.15 million mt. falling by 0.6 on year-on-year basis, with Russia producing 17.9 million mt, down by one percent, and Ukraine producing 5.32 million mt, falling by 3.4 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
EN 10025-2 is standard for hot rolled products of structural steels. EN 10025-2 steel grades are A514 Gr C alloy steel plate, S235JR, S235J0, S235J2 (S235 series); S275JR, S275J0, S275J2 (S275 series); S355JR, S355J0, S355J2, S355K2 (S355 series); and S450J0. The numbers 235, 275, 355, 450 indicates the min. yield strength for thickness ≤16mm. For example, when the thickness ≤16mm, the min. yield strength for S235 series steel is 235Mpa, S275 series steel is 275Mpa, S355 series steel is 355Mpa, and S450J0 steel is 450Mpa.
