Carbon structural steel refers to the kind of steel which is mainly used in construction and engineering structures without adding alloy elements. The thermal conductivity of NM360 wear-resistant plates is only 1/2 of that of carbon steel, A572 grade 55 ms steel, and even in the high temperature stage of 900-1000℃, the thermal conductivity is lower than that of carbon steel at the same temperature. Therefore, the heating rate of the NM360 wear-resistant plate, especially in the low temperature stage, should be lower than that of carbon steel to avoid excessively steep internal temperature gradients and cracks.
EN10083-3 42CrMo4 steel plate is a common chromium-molybdenum steel that usually used after quenched and tempered.
