The A283C CS steel carbon plate steel making furnace can only be used as primary refining, and the refining needs to be completed in the refining equipment outside the furnace, which is also called secondary refining. As to the Chemical composition, the different content is a main on carbon content, while the carbon content of A283C CS steel carbon plate, A283Gr. D is no more than 0.27% and it is higher than Grade C (≤0.24%) ; as to the mechanical property, the differences are tensile strength and yield strength, while the tensile strength of ASTM A283 Gr.D is 415-550MPa (60-80 ksi) and yield strength of ASTM A283 grade D is 230MPa (33 ksi).
