A514 Gr B quenched and tempered steel, 27SiMn material has high strength and wear resistance, high hardenability, medium plasticity during cold deformation, good machinability and fair weldability. It is mostly used after quenching and tempering, and can also be used in normalizing or hot rolling state. 27SiMn material chemical elements: C: 0.24-0.32, Si: 1.10-1.40, Mn: 1.10-1.40. 27SiMn material mechanical properties: tensile strength 980 MPa; yield strength: 835 MPa; elongation after fracture: 12%; impact energy: 39J. 27SiMn material can be used to make hot stamping parts with high toughness and high wear resistance, which do not need heat treatment or normalizing, such as tractor track pins.
The effect of nitrogen on steel performance is similar to that of carbon and phosphorus. With the increase of A514 Gr B quenched and tempered steel nitrogen content, the strength of steel can be improved, plasticity especially toughness can be significantly reduced, weldability becomes worse, and cold brittleness is intensified. Nitrogen with aluminum, niobium, vanadium and other elements can reduce its adverse effects, improve the performance of A514 Gr B quenched and tempered steel steel, can be used as an alloying element of low alloy steel.
Steel A514 Gr B quenched and tempered steel exports fell sharply year on year. According to the data of the General Administration of customs, 7.811 million tons of steel were exported from January to February, a year-on-year decrease of 27.0%; 2.041 million tons of imported steel, a year-on-year increase of 2.1%. Steel prices continue to fall. According to the monitoring of China Iron and Steel Industry Association, China's steel A514 Gr B quenched and tempered steel composite price index at the end of January was 105.48 points, down 0.58% month on month; at the end of February, the index continued to decline to 100.39 points, down 4.83% month on month.
