Boiler steel plate A572 grade 55 CS steel carbon plate mainly refers to the hot-rolled medium and heavy plate materials used to manufacture superheater, main steam pipe and heating surface of boiler fire chamber. The main boiler steel materials are high-quality structural steel and low-alloy heat-resistant steel. Common boiler steel includes low-carbon killed steel A572 grade 55 CS steel carbon plate smelted in open furnace or low-carbon steel smelted in electric furnace, with carbon content WC in the range of 0.16% - 0.26%.
Compared with A572 grade 55 CS steel carbon plate, pressure vessel and boiler steel plates have such advantages: The pressure vessel and boiler steel should be pure, and the fracture structure of the boiler steel plate should be uniform without cracks and inclusions. Besides, the strain aging sensitivity is small, and the strain aging impact value of the pressure vessel and boiler steel plate is required to be no less than 50% of the non-aging impact value. That is why pressure vessel and boiler steel plate is first choice for fabricating pressure vessels and boilers, while A572 grade 55 CS steel carbon plate is not.
We supply 5800 tons A53 Gr B ERW pipes to Qatar for Qatar Integrated Railway Project - Green Line. This is the first Metro Line in Qatar, and it is located in Doha. We got the order by tender, launched by the Qatar Railways Company for designing, construction and completion of Green Line Project. Before putting order, a delegation from the A572 grade 55 CS steel carbon plate project side visited us and several other famous steel pipe mills in China for 15 days. Finally, we were chosen and finished the task exceeding their expectations.
