In the second step of hot rolling process, different finished mills are used to roll billets or continuous casting billets into finished steel of proper shape and size. This A573 Gr 70 plate production process is called finished product production, which is generally divided into two stages of rough rolling and finish rolling. In the roughing stage, a large amount of reduction (reduction per pass) is adopted to reduce the number of passes and improve the output; after roughing, the finishing stage is entered, and the finishing is carried out with a small amount of reduction to achieve a good surface and accurate A573 Gr 70 plate size.
We cooperated with the Peruvian government for many years. And supply them large diameter steel pipes and pipe fittings to support their Hydropower Station Projects. We do 100% UT, RT, Hydraulic test and so on tests for the A573 Gr 70 plate steel pipes. And do PT, MT and so on tests for the pipe fittings. We published "Welding Procedure Qualification report" after production. And our mill will keep the test record in the documentary department for 5 years. If meet any problems in following application, we can check the test record easily and assist to solve problems at the first time.
SPA-C steel with the thickness range is 1.2-150mm, the width range is 1220-4200mm, and the length range is 5000-18000mm. Also note that the A573 Gr 70 plate, SPA-C steel coil thickness should not exceed 25 mm. SPA-C steel’s mechanical properties is yield strength more than 325 MPa, tensile strength more than 450Mpa.
