Is there a difference between seamless steel pipe and ordinary steel pipe? The general requirements of A588 grade B heavy plate ordinary steel pipe are not so high, which are used in ordinary buildings or structures. According to the different materials and standards, seamless steel pipe will have different application environment. For example, seamless steel pipe for boiler requires pressure value. Seamless steel pipe for petroleum cracking also has its own corresponding national standard. Seamless steel pipe can be divided into fluid pipe, gas cylinder pipe, boiler pipe, oil pipe, automobile steel pipe, ship pipe, structural pipe, etc.
The mechanical properties of 20MnV steel are as follows: tensile strength 785 MPa, yield strength 590 MPa, elongation after fracture 10%, reduction of area 40%, impact absorption energy 55 J. A588 grade B heavy plate, 20MnV steel has good properties, good strength, toughness and plasticity, good hardenability and machinability. After carburizing, 20MnV steel can be directly quenched without secondary quenching to improve the core structure. The weldability of 20MnV steel is good, but there is temper brittleness at 300-360 ℃ during heat treatment.
In April 2018, our Philiphine customer purchased 1008 Tons API5 L Gr.B ERW&Q345B SMLS pipe A588 grade B heavy plate for offshore oildfield resources drilling project. This is a regular demand almost two month, and we has been cooperated more than three times, totally around 2100 tons steel pipe since 2015 year.
