Cold rolled A283 Gr A CS steel carbon plate steel sheet can be produced by two high mill, four high reversing mill, multi high reversing mill and tandem cold mill. Although there are still only two work rolls in four high and multi high rolling mills, each work roll is supported by one or more large diameter backup rolls, which can prevent deflection of work roll. As a result, wide and thinner A283 Gr A CS steel carbon plate steel plates can be produced. For example, 20 high mill can produce as thin as 0. 001 mm sheet, but the two high mill can only produce as thin as 0. 35mm sheet
We supply 5800 tons A53 Gr B ERW pipes to Qatar for Qatar Integrated Railway Project - Green Line. This is the first Metro Line in Qatar, and it is located in Doha. We got the order by tender, launched by the Qatar Railways Company for designing, construction and completion of Green Line Project. Before putting order, a delegation from the A283 Gr A CS steel carbon plate project side visited us and several other famous steel pipe mills in China for 15 days. Finally, we were chosen and finished the task exceeding their expectations.
The tensile strength of A36 steel plate is 58-80 Ksi (about 400-550MPa), and the yield strength is 36 Ksi (about 250MPa); the tensile strength of Q235 steel plate is 370-500 MPa, and the yield strength is 235MPa; the tensile strength of SS400 steel plate is 400-510MPa, and the yield strength is 245MPa. For the mechanical properties of A283 Gr A CS steel carbon plate, SS400 steel plate and Q235 steel plate, the thickness of steel plate is less than 16mm. It can be seen from the above data that ASME A36 and Chinese Q235 are named after the yield strength of the material, while SS400 is named after the tensile strength of the material.
