ASTM 36 is the most common alloy steel. It is used for most building components, including columns, beams, decorations, and completion elements. ASTM A36 A283 Gr A CS steel carbon plate ductility does not allow the alloy to be used as a cable or as reinforcement (reinforcement). However, ASTM A36 is also perfect for most other purposes.

That is why pressure vessel and boiler steel plate is first choice for fabricating pressure vessels and boilers, while A283 Gr A CS steel carbon plate is not.
The main applications of normalizing are as follows:① For low carbon steel, A283 Gr A CS steel carbon plate. The hardness of low carbon steel after normalizing is slightly higher than that after annealing, and the toughness is also better, so normalizing can be used as the pretreatment of cutting.② For medium carbon steel, normalizing can be used as the final heat treatment instead of quenching and tempering treatment, or as the preparation treatment before surface quenching by induction heating.③ Normalizing can be used in tool steel, bearing steel, carburizing steel and so on, which can eliminate or inhibit the formation of network carbide, thus obtaining the good microstructure needed for spheroidizing annealing.④ Normalizing can refine the cast structure and improve the machinability of steel castings.
A283 Gr A CS steel carbon plate, 09CuPCrNi-A weather resistant steel is origined in China. Its equivalent grades are JIS SPA-H, BS WR50A, Corten steel, etc. The Cu, P, Cr, Ni are important elements that gave 09CuPCrNi-A weather resistant steel its weathering ability. The Cu content of 09CuPCrNi-A steel is 0.25–0.50, P content is 0.060-0.12, Cr content is 0.30-1.25, Ni content is 0.12-0.65. For 09CuPCrNi-A steel coil ≤ 4mm, the min. yield strength is 310Mpa, min. tensile strength 440Mpa. For 09CuPCrNi-A steel sheets >4mm, the min. yield strength is 345Mpa, min. tensile strength 480Mpa.
