The cold bending method is mainly used to produce cold-formed section steel and welded pipe. The cold bending method is to bend the steel strip or steel plate into various cross-section shapes by the cold bending machine in the cold state. If the A514 Gr F alloy steel plate steel pipe is bent into a circular, square or other hollow shape and welded by a proper welding method, it is a welded pipe. The advantages of cold bending: first, the cold-formed section steel is light in weight and large in bearing capacity, and it can save metal by replacing the hot-rolled section steel; second, it can produce all kinds of A514 Gr F alloy steel plate extremely thin, extremely wide and complex section steel which can not be produced by hot rolling.
We have built solid cooperation with Myanmar Navy since 2015, starting from a try order about 412 tons LR AH36 shipbuilding steel plates. Myanmar navy builds frigate every year and book shipbuilding steel materials from us regularly. This time, the Myanmar navy’s local representative visit us and put another order about 2025 tons LR grade A steel plates. According to clients requirements, we arranged A514 Gr F alloy steel plate SGS inspection for the LR grade A steel plates before shipping and send them inspection report.
JIS g3101:2004 ss540 structural steel angle contains 0.30% carbon and 1.60% manganese, which greatly improves the strength of steel. Compared with A514 Gr F alloy steel plate SS400 and ss490, ss540 has higher strength with yield strength of 400MPa and tensile strength of 540Mpa. High strength makes it popular in applications that require strength but weight is a problem.
