On October 16, 2019, the Board of Directors of the World Steel Association (worldsteel) elected the following new officers for 2019/2020 at the worldsteel General Assembly in Monterrey. The new A572 grade 42 ms steel officers are elected for a one-year period: Chairman - YU Yong, Chairman, HBIS Group Co., Ltd. Vice Chairman - Sajjan JINDAL, Chairman and Managing Director, JSW Steel Limited.
Generally, the A572 grade 42 ms steel, wear-resistant plates we use are made of a variety of alloys, and some metal elements are added. High-strength plates are heavier. We can reduce the quality of the wear-resistant plates through special treatment. So that the structure is lightened, the force of rain water on the wear-resistant plates will be weakened, and the damage to the wear-resistant steel plate will be reduced.
Chemical composition of 12Cr1MoV alloy steel plate: Carbon C: 0.08-0.15; Silicon Si: 0.17-0.37; Manganese Mn: 0.40-0.70; Sulfur S: allowable residual content ≤ 0.035; Phosphorus P: allowable residual content ≤ 0.035; Chromium Cr: 0.90-1.20; Nickel Ni: allowable residual content ≤ 0.030; Cu: allowable residual content ≤ 0.030; V: 0.15-0.30; Mo: 0.25-0.30.Delivery status of A572 grade 42 ms steel, 12Cr1MoV alloy steel plate: delivered in heat treatment (normalizing, annealing or high temperature tempering) or non heat treatment status, and the delivery status shall be indicated in the contract.
