Both the cross rolling method and the extrusion method must first heat the tube blank or ingot, and the steel tube produced is called hot rolling tube. Steel pipes produced by hot working can sometimes be cold worked as required. There are two methods of cold working: one is cold drawing, that is, drawing the A514 grade E quenched and tempered steel steel pipe through the drawing die to make the steel pipe gradually thin and elongate; the other is cold rolling, which is the method of applying the hot rolling mill invented by the menesmann brothers to cold working. The cold working of A514 grade E quenched and tempered steel seamless steel pipe can improve the size accuracy and finish of steel pipe, and improve the mechanical properties of materials.
In 2014, we offered 175 ton Cold rolled stainless steel plate to Thailand. The A514 grade E quenched and tempered steel products are from TISCO. Here is the MTC that we offered to customer. We have our own quality team. Our quality team will inspect every order before shipment for customer. Normally, we will test the chemical composition, thickness, width, and length. The proportion of main elements in Q345 steel is basically the same as that in 16Mn steel, the difference is that V, Ti, Nb microalloy elements are added. A small amount of V, Ti, Nb alloy elements can refine the grains, greatly improve the toughness of the steel, and greatly improve the comprehensive mechanical properties of the steel. Because of this, the thickness of A514 grade E quenched and tempered steel, Q345 steel plate can be made larger. Therefore, the comprehensive mechanical properties of Q345 steel should be better than that of 16Mn steel, especially its low temperature properties. The allowable stress of Q345 steel is slightly higher than that of 16Mn steel.
